First generation Italian-American with roots in Abruzzo and South Philly. Began working in kitchens at 11 with experience ranging from bakeries to fine dining. He is motivated by the desire to keep the memories of his family’s matriarchs alive.
Chef Johnnie brings an immense amount of talent and experience to Valente's. He served as the Executive Chef of both The Palm and Ruth's Chris and played pivotal roles at Double Knot, Parc, and Branzino, where he fine tuned his pasta skills.
Halie, a CIA graduate with an Advanced Pastry concentration, strives to create stories through flavor and presentation. She believes that the ideal dessert is not only the perfect complement to a great meal but it should leave the guest savoring and longing for the flavors.
With over five years experience and exposure to many cuisines, Bruce brings professionalism and excitement to the work place. His attention to details and outgoing personality allows guest to not only enjoy their food but their service as well. His desire to be great allows him to put full effort in his work and ensure a 5 star dinning experience.
